Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) director general and chairman Mattar Al Tayer on Monday announced a plan to launch AED 3.2 billion road projects around Expo 2020, to be executed in 2018.
The new projects include an extention to Dubai Metro’s red line from Nakheel Harbour and Towers Station to Expo 2020 site, which will reach 15 square metres and will comprise seven stations, Al Tayer posted on Twitter.
The RTA will complete the execution of many projects by 2018, and will offer other new projects for bidding, the top official concluded.
