UAE – Mubasher: TIME Hotels, a UAE-based hospitality company, announced the appointment of Bernard Fantoli as the new general manager at TIME Grand Plaza Hotel in Dubai.
Accordingly, Fantoli will be assigned the management of the 232-room hotel, as well as setting strategic plans that will support the hotel’s operations and boost the executive team productivity, according to a press release.
Moreover, he will be responsible for the recruitment and development of staff and annual budgets at the hotel, in addition to ensuring that the highest levels of guest satisfaction are met.
Fantoli has an experience of more than 20 years in the hospitality sector as he held several food and beverage positions across Europe, China, and the Caribbean and numerous senior management positions in the UAE and Belgium at leading global brands such as Hilton and Marriott.
Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of TIME Hotels, commented: “Bernard’s skill set, paired with his international knowledge and sound understanding of the hospitality industry will be vital to the success of our brand as we continue to expand our portfolio throughout 2019 and beyond as well as continuing to refine our existing offering.”

It is worth noting that he used to work as corporate director of food and beverage for the TIME Hotels portfolio since 2014 2014 before being promoted to his new position as general manager.
