Dubai – Mubasher: The inflation rate for Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Dubai inched down 0.4% month-on-month to 0.38% in October, compared to 1.15% in September, Dubai Statistics Center’s (DSC) reported.
Year-on-year, the GCC emirate’s cost of living index hit 109.75 points in October, up from 109.33 points in the same month last year, the report added.
In January, the UAE started imposing the value added tax (VAT) by 5% on some commodities and services.
