Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai’s inflation rose 2.23% in June 2016, compared to figures from May 2015, according to a report by the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC).
The year-on-year increase resulted from a rise in the education group by 6.74%. In addition, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group went up 3.69%
Moreover, the emirate's inflation advanced 0.076% month-on-month in June 2016 due to the growth of the food and beverages, transport, and clothing and footwear groups by 2.09%, 2.09% and 1.57% respectively.
