UAE - Mubasher: Dubai's foreign trade of sterilisers grew by 23% to AED 70 million in the first half (H1) of 2020, compared to AED 56.8 million in the same period of 2019, according to the data by Dubai Customs.
The emirate saw the highest growth in the value of steriliser trade by 95% to AED 18 million in June from AED 9.2 million in the corresponding month of 2019.
The steriliser imports increased by 33% to AED 32.4 million in H1-20 from AED 24.4 million in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the exports reached AED 31 million in the January-June period of 2020, up 20% from AED 25.7 million in the same period of the earlier year.
The re-exports of sterilisers remained unchanged at AED 6.5 million.
