Dubai's trade exchange with Canada reaches AED 5.5bn

Dubai - Mubasher: Dubai's trade exchange with Canada reached AED 5.5 billion over the first nine months of 2015, said Ahmed Musabih, Dubai customs director.

He added that the trade exchange between the two countries reached stood at about AED 7.3 billion, according to the customs website.

Musabih added that Canada is one of the important trading partners with the UAE in general and with Dubai in particular (especially in the Americas).

Dubai Customs aims to attract more Canadian trade to Dubai, and allows Canadian companies to benefit from the global role of Dubai, as a regional and international trade and investment center, to access to the different markets in Asia, Africa and Europe, he added.

Ongoing communication with the Canadian diplomatic corps contributes to  achieving this goal, through considering their needs and requirements for the development of their trade with the world via Dubai.
