UAE – Mubasher: Visitors and residents of Dubai are about to witness the first auction in the Middle East for the skeleton of a dinosaur.
The auction’s initial value amounts to AED 14.6 million ($3.97 million), according to the Emirates News Agency.
“The 24.4-meter-long by 7-meter-high skeleton, which dates back to the Jurassic period, is the first of its kind in the world to be installed at the Dubai Mall,” WAM reported.
Staged by Emirates Auction, the online auction is set to end on 25 August.
