Dubai – Mubasher: The number of US tourists who visited the emirate of Dubai in the first 10 months of 2019, amounted to 481,000, official figures showed.
This marked a year-on-year growth of 1%, compared with 478,000 US visitors in the same 10-month period last year, the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) said.
Tourists from the US, which ranked as Dubai’s sixth highest tourism source market, accounted for 3.9% of the total visitors to the emirate, who were 12.08 million in the 10 months to October.
Dubai aims to attract 20 million international tourists and travelling businessmen per annum by the end of 2020, from 15 million visitors in 2017.
