Dubai- Mubasher: Emirates Islamic on Wednesday announced it has become the first Islamic bank in the UAE offer visitors to the country the option to convert their cash withdrawals for Visa card at any of the bank’s ATMs.
Non-UAE Visa cardholders can now carry out dynamic currency conversion before making a cash withdrawal through the bank's ATMs, according to a press release.
This move comes following a successful pilot by Emirates NBD Group in partnership with Network International, Visa, and Planet, Emirates Islamic said.
The new service will be powered by Planet’s dynamic currency conversion solution which covers over 130 foreign currencies and integrated by Network International across Emirates Islamic’s ATM network country-wide, the bank highlighted.
