Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) addressed the public prosecutor to file a lawsuit against each of Egyptian Financial and Industrial Co. and Abu Zaabal Fertilizer & Chemical Co.
The Competition Authority proved that the two companies engaged in a collusion to keep minimal price difference between their products.
Earlier, ECA referred 24 fertilizer distribution companies to public prosecution for manipulating prices and violating the Competition Law.
