Cairo – Mubasher: EFG Hermes, a unit of EFG Holding, concluded advisory for its role as listing and financial advisor to Orascom Construction on its listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
The trading of Orascom Construction’s shares commenced on 11 September under the ticker “ORAS”, with a market capitalization of $905 million.
Meanwhile, its secondary listing on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will remain unchanged.
Maged El Ayouti, Co-Head of Investment Banking at EFG Hermes, commented: “This transaction adds to EFG Hermes’ strong track record of landmark deals since the beginning of the year, whereby EFG Hermes has advised on 6 M&A transactions, 8 DCM, and 10 ECM transactions across the region.”
The board members of Orascom Construction greenlighted the transaction last July.
