Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Financial and Industrial (EFIC) on Sunday reported a 6.2% year-on-year increase in standalone profits for 2018.
Net profit amounted to EGP 109.1 million in the 12-month period ended December, versus EGP 102.74 million in 2017, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Revenues grew to EGP 890.38 million last year from EGP 711.8 million in the year before, the company added.
In October, EFIC posted an 18% year-on-year decline in standalone profits for the first nine months of 2018, recording a net profit of EGP 60.7 million, versus EGP 74.3 million in the year-ago period.
Revenues rose to EGP 518.5 million at the end of September from EGP 484.3 million in the prior-year period.
