Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) achieved net profits of EGP 627.11 million in 2020, down by 4.9% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 659.53 million, the unaudited consolidated financial results showed.
The bank’s interest income retreated to EGP 7.37 billion last year, compared to EGP 7.5 billion in 2019, according to a bourse disclosure on Thursday.
The unaudited standalone financial results for 2020 showed net profits of EGP 625.23 million in 2020, down from EGP 675.34 million in 2019.
During the first nine months of 2020, EG Bank logged consolidated net profits of EGP 455.26 million, compared to EGP 459.67 million in the same period in 2019.
