Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited standalone financial results of the Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) showed net profits of EGP 317.03 million during the first half (H1) of 2020, slightly up by 1.76% from EGP 311.53 million in the year-ago period.
The bank's interest income grew to EGP 3.78 billion in the January-June period, compared to EGP 3.66 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
It is worth mentioning that the unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter of 2020 showed that EG Bank achieved net profits of EGP 153.63 million in the January-March period, up from EGP 148.2 million in the prior-year period.
