Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) listing committee has approved the change of Orascom Telecom, Media and Technology Holding’s (OTMT) name to become Orascom Investment Holding on the Egyptian securities listing.
The company’s name will be changed on the EGX’s database as of Thursday, 9 August, the Egyptian bourse said in a statement on Wednesday.
The listing committee also approved the amendment of OTMT’s headquarter and legal position, the EGX added.
In June, OTMT said that its extraordinary general assembly (EGM) approved the amendment of the company’s name to be Orascom Investment Holding.
The Egyptian giant firm owned by billionaire Naguib Sawiris also changed its address to be 2005 C Nile City Towers, 29th floor instead of the 26th.
