Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced on Thursday that trading hours during the holy month of Ramadan will remain the same from 10:00 am Cairo time to 1:30 pm.
The preopening session will start at 9:30 am, as orders registration of heavy-weighted transactions will begin at 9:15 am to 9:30 am, the Egyptian bourse said in a statement on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that the EGX previously reduced the trading hours as part of the precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
