Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark of Cairo bourse moved back below the mark of 7,685 it touched within the first trading minutes of Wednesday’s session.
At 10:50am Cairo time, the main index fell 0.28% to 7,636 points.
Likewise, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 declined by 0.64% to 364 points. The broader index EGX100 opened 0.51% down to 785 points. The equal-weighted index EGX50 was 0.56% lower to 1,432 points.
CIB, the largest constituent on EGX30, initiated the day 0.78% lower. Similarly, OTMT slipped 2.5%, but registered the top trading value at EGP31.2 million.
Trading value reached EGP269 million. In addition, the bourse saw 13 stocks move up, 99 move down, and 25 remain unchanged.
National and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP2.8 million and EGP5 million respectively, while foreign investors were net buyers by EGP7.8 million.
