Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading in green, backed by purchases by local and foreign investors.
The EGX30 index levelled up 0.6% or 77.36 points to the level of 12,883.4 points, the EGX70 index rose 1.99% to 503.5 points and the EGX100 index advanced 1.86% to 1,225.26 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index also leapt 1.2% to 1,956.8 points.
The market capitalisation rose EGP 5.6 billion to EGP 628.06 billion.
Trading volume reached 228.5 million shares exchanged at EGP 952.7 million.

EFG Hermes made the highest turnover of EGP 72.2 million, the stock fell 1.78% to EGP 24.2.
Heavyweight CIB rose 0.74% to EGP 77.59 with a turnover of EGP 30.98 million.
Talaat Moustafa Group Holding declined 6.1% to EGP 8 with a turnover of EGP 30.6 million.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 20.2 million, while net sales by local and foreign investors reached EGP 17.6 million and EGP 2.6 million respectively.
Net purchases by individuals amounted to EGP 2.35 million.
