Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session down by 0.3% at 11,403.34 points.
The EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.84% to 1,955.42 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI edged down by 0.96% to 1,963.44 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI declined by 0.81% to end the session at 2,960.64 points.
EGX’s turnover totalled EGP 662.52 million through the trading of 280.89 million shares.
The market cap value stood at EGP 722.55 billion.
As for trading on securities, Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 5.32 million, while Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 21,074 and EGP 5.30 million, respectively.
