Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 4.90% at 11511.15 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 2.83% to close Monday's session at 1,979.52 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 3.53% to 2,996.47 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 4.36% to close at 1,993.17 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 4.89 billion after 698.76 million shares had been traded through 68,722 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 739.76 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 1.36 billion and EGP 242.26 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 1.60 billion.
