Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index rose 1.08% or 145.34 points to the level of 13,558.46 points.
The EGX70 went up 0.52% to 714.90 points, while the EGX100 edged up 0.36% to 1,612.33 points, and the EGX50 added 0.97% to 2,102 points.
Trading volume amounted to 235.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 681.4 million through 25,140 transactions.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 4.17 billion and closed at EGP 715.8 billion.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 39 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 20.5 million and EGP 18.5 million, respectively.
