Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index declined 0.17% or 23.11 points to the level of 13,637.69 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70 went up 0.48% to 718.03 points, while the EGX100 edged up 0.24% to 1,616.22 points, and the EGX50 added 0.3% to 2,109.17 points.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 775.8 million and closed at EGP 715.9 billion.
Traded volume amounted to 300.2 million shares exchanged at EGP 747.9 million through 23,900 transactions.
Foreign traders were net sellers by EGP 15.8 million, while Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers by EGP 7 million and EGP 8.8 million, respectively.
Orascom Telecom, Arab Cotton Ginning, and Eastern Company dropped 2.82%, 1.39%, and 0.52%, respectively.
On the other hand, Porto Group Holding and Oriental Weavers rose 5.13% and 0.86%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shed 0.19% to EGP 85.03, with a turnover of EGP 46.88 million.
