Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, as the main index EGX30 settled 0.92% higher, gaining 126.21 points and closing at the level of 13,815.6 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 also increased by 1.07% to the level of 2,149.74 points.
Meanwhile, the small and medium-sized enterprise index EGX70 fell 1.3% to end the session at 692.41 points, while the broader index EGX100 went down 0.84% to 1,747.03 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 242 million shares, with a total turnover of EGP 636.2 million, through roughly 21,900 transactions.
Market capitalization rose by EGP 5.7 billion to EGP 773.9 billion.
