Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 0.76% at 11,691.82 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.57% to close Wednesday's session at 2,164.35 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.87% to 3,198.68 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.08% to close at 2,046.82 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 11.17 billion after 377.22 million shares had been traded through 36,229 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 751.91 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 3.42 billion, while the Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 482.68 million and EGP 2.93 billion, respectively.
