EGX closes mixed, EGX30 falls 0.72% Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s session on a mixed note, amid buying activity by Arab and foreign investors.

The benchmark EGX30 index declined 0.72% or 96.28 points to the level of 13,334.78 points.

On the other hand, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose by 1.4%, 0.77%, and 0.24%, respectively.

Market capitalisation decreased by EGP 102.7 million to EGP 694.03 billion.

Trading volume reached 240.5 million shares exchanged at EGP 767 million through 23,500 transactions.

Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 33.5 million and EGP 23.9 million, respectively, while net sales by Egyptian investors amounted to EGP 59.4 million.
