Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 dropped 0.45% or 60.72 points to the level of 13,419.38 points on Monday.
The EGX70 index shed 0.11% to 699.53 points, while the EGX100 index inched down 0.17% to 1,588.34 points.
The EGX50 index slipped 0.70% to the level of 2,076 points.
Market capitalisation lost EGP 1.8 billion and closed at EGP 705.6 billion.
Trading volume amounted to 240.68 million shares exchanged at EGP 654.4 million through 22,090 transactions.
Foreigners and Arabs were net sellers by EGP 24.4 million and EGP 4.6 million, respectively, while Egyptians were net buyers by EGP 29.09 million.
Emaar Misr, Porto Group Holding, and Amer Group Holding retreated 5.26%, 5%, and 3.03%, respectively.
On the other hand, Telecom Egypt, Domty, and Cairo Oils and Soap rose 2.31%, 1.12%, and 0.63%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt's (CIB) stock fell 2.41% to EGP 82.6, with a turnover of EGP 130.5 million.
