Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark EGX30 index edged down by 0.01% to end at 10,376 points.
Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.23% to 1,187 points, while the broader EGX100 index fell by 0.17% to 1,118 points.
The EGX50 index went down by 0.22% to 1,591 points.
The market cap value shrank by EGP 383 million to close at EGP 564.511 billion.
Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 2.4 billion and EGP 75.5 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 2.47 billion.
The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.04 billion after 404.2 million shares were exchanged through nearly 36,500 transactions.
