Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday's trading session on a varied note.
The main EGX30 index fell by 0.49% to end at 11,555 points and the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI edged down by 0.04% to 2,163 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI rose by 0.1% to 3,149 points, while the EGX50 EWI inched down by 0.01% to end at 2,038 points.
The market cap value decreased by EGP 1.86 billion to close at EGP 733.34 billion on Sunday, compared to EGP 735.21 billion on Thursday.
Local investors were net sellers with EGP 25.144 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 2.95 million and EGP 22.19 million, respectively.
The market's turnover amounted to EGP 382.61 million after 173.36 million shares were exchanged through nearly 20,580 transactions.
