Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a varied note with the main EGX30 index rising by 0.25% to end at 11,289 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.42% to 2,203 points, while the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.29% to 3,213 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI retreated by 0.56% to close at 2,238 points.
The market cap value dropped by EGP 83.9 million to register EGP 688.47 billion on Sunday from EGP 688.56 billion on Thursday.
The market’s turnover reached EGP 897.29 million after 526.89 million shares were exchanged through about 34,610 transactions.
Local investors were net sellers with EGP 7.2 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 3.21 million and EGP 3.99 million, respectively.
