Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session in green territory.
The benchmark EGX30 index rose by 0.67%, or 90.33 points, to close at 13,616 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 index went up 0.06% to 522.42 points, while the broader EGX100 index grew by 0.37% to 1,364 points.
In the meantime, the equal-weighted EGX50 index advanced by 0.66%, finishing the session at 1,983 points.
Trading volume reached 166.9 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 447.3 million through nearly 15,130 transactions.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 2.4 billion to close at EGP 720.02 billion.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) rose by 1.36% to EGP 74.02.
Egyptian investors were net sellers with 1.65 billion, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.63 billion and EGP 14.7 million, respectively.
