Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), EGX30, went up 1.87% to end Thursday’s session at 12,983.99 points.
EGX70 gained 1.63% to close at 532.36 points, and EGX100 rose by 1.54% to 1,260 points.
EGX50 also levelled up by 1.22% to reach 2,001.38 points.
The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.58 billion, after 295.32 million shares were traded.
Arab investors performed purchasing transactions at a value of EGP 39.3 million, while both Egyptian and foreign traders executed selling transactions worth EGP 9.4 million and EGP 29.8 million, respectively.
Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) gained 2.75% to end the session at EGP 78.50.
Talaat Moustafa Group was the top winner with a rise of 9.08%, followed by Edita and Orascom Construction with a gain of 6.97% and 5.77%, respectively.
