Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session on a mixed note.
The benchmark EGX30 index inched up 0.09 %, finishing the session at 15,199.29 points.
Market capitalisation lost EGP 1.4 billion and closed the session at EGP 858.46 billion.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index slipped 0.14% to 734.46 points, while the broader EGX100 index dipped 0.08% to 1,896.13 points.
The equal-weightedEGX50 index tumbled 0.28% to 2,553.06 points.
Trading volume amounted to around 174.7 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 1.05 billion through 19,600 transactions.
Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 58.8 million and EGP 13.2 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 72 million.
