Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session on a mixed note.
The last session of the week and the first in March, saw the benchmark index EGX30 changing its upwards direction and losing 0.19%, as it closed at the level of 15,443.18 points.
The small and medium enterprises EGX70 rose 0.10% to 861.59 points, while the broader index EGX100 went down 0.06% to 2,106 points.
Traded volumes reached 192.62 million shares, with a turnover of EGP 1.5 billion, through around 28,480 transactions.
The market capital ended the session at EGP 892.2 billion, increasing by EGP 6.8 billion.
Egyptian investors leaned towards buying with a net EGP 10.8 million, while foreign and Arab investors netted EGP 10.6 million, and EGP 184,090 respectively.
