Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange is likely to resume trading on a positive note Tuesday, backed by a possible higher demand after a span of official holidays, said analysts.
Mahmoud Hossam, a financial analyst at Mubasher, said the bourse is to give a positive performance Tuesday, powered by last Thursday’s closing and investor’s appetite after a time of none-trading.
Likewise, Khaled Nagah, head of trading at Mega Investment, said the equity market may witness limited gains and see buying momentum after a non-trading span.
Last Thursday, the benchmark closed 1.15% lower to 7,773.23 points, registering a one-off down tempo for 15 sessions.
The Egyptian Exchange closed last Sunday and Monday on the occasion of Labor Day and Easter.
