Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Thursday’s close by 0.37% to the level of 13,683.66 points, the highest level ever, extending gains to the 13th session in a row.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices levelled up 0.54%, 0.46%, and 0.64%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 308 million shares exchanged at EGP 1.17 billion through 23,900 transactions.
The market capitalisation increased by EGP 1.93 billion to EGP 686.34 billion.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 117.5 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 67.3 million and EGP 50.2 million, respectively.
Arab Cotton Ginning, Citadel, Emaar Misr, Amer Group, and Porto Group rose between 4.3% and 2.4%.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) advanced 0.76% to EGP 84.7.
On the other hand, Pioneers, SODIC, Juhayna, Ghabbour, and Global Telecom declined between 1.9% and 1.2%.
