Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a positive note amid lower turnover.
The main EGX30 index increased by 0.48%, ending the session at 10,680 points.
Similarly, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 0.65% to 1,869 points, while the EGX100 EWI advanced by 0.57% to 2,732 points.
In the meantime, the EGX50 EWI added 0.48% to 1,989 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 1.58 billion to register EGP 611.212 billion.
Local investors were net sellers with EGP 6.5 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 4.29 million and EGP 2.3 million, respectively.
The market’s turnover stood at EGP 601.37 million after 227.6 million shares were exchanged through about 28,240 transactions.
