Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday's trading session in the green zone on the back of local purchases.
The main EGX30 index inched up by 0.14% to end at 10,738 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 1.91% to 2,878 points.
Likewise, the EGX100 EWI rose by 1.43% to 3,859 points and the EGX50 EWI increased by 1.48% to 2,401 points.
The market cap value gained EGP 4 billion to close at EGP 710.47 billion on Sunday, compared to EGP 706.44 billion on Thursday.
The market's turnover recorded EGP 1.76 billion after 659.03 million shares were exchanged through around 61,100 transactions.
Local investors were net buyers with EGP 32.8 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 3.07 million and EGP 29.72 million, respectively.
