Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) suspended trading on 16 stocks for 30 minutes on Monday’s session, as each stock exceeded a 5% rise or drop.
By 1:45 pm Cairo time, National Cement’s stock led the rising suspended stocks by 14.7% to EGP 10.45, with a turnover of EGP 1.5 million.
The EGX decided to suspend trading on Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing’s stock, which topped the declining suspended stocks by 7.27%.
