Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday's trading session in red territory, pressured by Arab buying.
The main EGX30 index fell 0.24%, to close at 15,842.46 points.
The EGX70 index shed 0.69% to 769.76 points, while the EGX100 index inched down 0.47%, to 1,980 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index decreased 0.82%, closing at 2,686 points.
The bourse’s trading volume reached 119.8 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 446.2 million through 17,500 transactions.
Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 16.4 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 13.5 million, and EGP 2.9 million, respectively.
Market capitalisation lost EGP 4.5 billion, to close at EGP 885.47 billion.
