Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index inched down 0.17% or 23.16 points to the level of 13,396.22 points on Tuesday.
The EGX70 edged up 0.67% to 704.21 points, while the EGX100 added 0.29% to 1,592.93 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 slipped 0.16% to the level of 2,072 points.
Trading volume reached about 210.5 million shares exchanged at EGP 693.09 million through 20,800 transactions.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 166.4 million and closed at EGP 705.7 billion.
Foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 12.8 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 12 million and EGP 810,200, respectively.
Credit Agricole – Egypt, Orascom Construction, and Amer Group dropped 3.95%, 3.19%, and 3.12%, respectively.
On the other hand, Elsewedy Electric, Domty, and Alexandria Mineral Oils levelled up 3.15%, 1.98%, and 1.85%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) shed 0.18% to EGP 83.75, with a turnover of EGP 81.17 million.
