Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index declined 0.42% or 56.93 points to the level of 13,580.76 points.
The EGX70 went up 0.53% to 721.83 points, while the EGX100 inched up 0.18% to 1,619.09 points, and the EGX50 added 0.55% to 2,120 points.
Market capitalisation gained EGP 1.8 billion and closed at EGP 717.7 billion.
Traded volume amounted to 311.6 million shares exchanged at EGP 692.8 million through 25,210 transactions.
Arab and Egyptian traders were net sellers by EGP 13.9 million and EGP 11.3 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net buyers by EGP 25.31 million.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) dropped 1.87% to EGP 84.06, with a turnover of EGP 19.59 million.
Eastern Company and Arab Cotton Ginning slipped 1.19% and 2.02%, respectively.
On the other hand, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt (ADIB), Emaar Misr, and Porto Group levelled up 6.30%, 4.30%, and 2.44%, respectively.
