Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices extended its gains in Tuesday's midday trade, as the benchmark index EGX30 went up 0.52% to 6,796.56 points.
The small and mid - cap index EGX70 inched up 0.53% to 368.24 points, while the broader index EGX100 added 0.26% to 758.58 points.
Similarly, the equal-weighted index EGX50 edged up 0.8% to 1,157.78 points.
The market's trading value stood EGP 259 million, with 131.5 million shares changed hands, through more than 10,000 transactions.
Local and Arab investors came as net buyers with EGP 6.1 million and EGP 2.7 million respectively, while foreign investors came as net sellers with EGP 8.8 million.
