Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Monday’s session on a mixed note as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.25% or 34.59 points to the level of 13,530.71 points.
The EGX50 index advanced 0.08%, while the EGX70 and EGX100 indices declined 0.05% and 0.08%, respectively.
By 11:00 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 104.43 million shares exchanged at EGP 278.39 million through 5,400 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 12.05 million and EGP 26.66 million, respectively, while Egyptian traders were net sellers by EGP 38.719 million.
Ezz Steel rose 2.55%, Global Telecom ascended 1.67%, and Arab Cotton Ginning advanced 1.04%.
On the other hand, HADISOLB dropped 6.5%, Porto Holding fell 2.38%, and Palm Hills shrank 0.63%.
