Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Wednesday’s trading on a mixed note as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.17% or 21.31 points to the level of 13,260.4 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices fell 0.48%, 0.40%, and 0.64%, respectively.
By 10:00 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 93 million shares, as turnover amounted to EGP 481 million.
Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 20.5 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 14.7 million and EGP 81.3 million, respectively.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 1.16% to EGP 81.3.
On the other hand, TMG Holding fell 3.1%, Porto Holding declined 2.56%, and Domty shrank 1.74%.
