Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange indices rose collectively on Sunday’s early trade, as the benchmark index EGX30 added 0.13% or 8 points reaching the level of 5,821 points.
The heavy weight Commercial International Bank went up 1.8%, while the stocks of EFG-Hermes, Porto Group, Palm Hills and Emaar Misr advanced within the range of 0.4% to 3.45%.
The equal weighted index EGX50 advanced by 0.79% to 1,064.6 points, while the small and mid-caps index EGX70 leapt 0.27% to 348 points.
The broader index EGX100 inched up 0.21% to 697.8 points.
The market witnessed 27 million shares changing hands at EGP 38 million through 2,100 transactions.
Local investors came as net buyers with EGP 3.9 million, while foreign and Arab investors came as net sellers by EGP 2.5 million and EGP 1.4 million respectively.
