Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.05% to the level of 13,632.98 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices levelled up 2.25%, 1.49%, and 0.59%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 305.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 960.1 million through 21,400 transactions.
The market capitalisation closed at EGP 684.41 billion, rising EGP 854 million.
Egyptian investors were net buyers by EGP 82.54 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 44.1 million and EGP 38.4 million, respectively.
Ezz Steel, Crédit Agricole, Amer Group, Madinet Nasr Housing, and Orascom Telecom rose between 7.47% and 2.56%.
On the other hand, Orascom Construction, Porto Holding, Juhayna, and Delta Construction fell between 3.39% and 1.48%.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) declined 1.40% to EGP 83.71.
