Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) data for Sunday, 13 December, showed that insider traders were mostly buyers.
The stock market shut in the negative territory on Sunday, losing around EGP 9.3 billion of its value.
Insider traders bought 200,900 shares during Sunday’s session. Electro Cable took the lead after its board of directors bought 100,000 shares.
Spinalex board also bought around 55,000 shares. United Housing board also purchased 19,450 shares, while the board of Misr Chemical Industries bought 15,140 shares.
Meanwhile, insider trading saw the sale of 46,300 shares, with South Valley Cement taking the lead with 25,000 shares.
