Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is expected to test the level of 12,998 points on Thursday, analysts told Mubasher.
Market analyst at EGS Brokers, Hoda El Menshawy, said that the EGX30 index remains on the upward trend, and still swings between 10,265 points and 14,200 points on the short term.
“Reaching the mark of 12,998 points will help the index to maintain its upward movement,” El Menshawy added.
The EGX30 index declined on Tuesday 0.92% or 120.01 points to the level of 12,882 points, the EGX50 index also shrank 0.64% to 1,957.74 points.
Technical analyst, Safaa Fares, said that the main gauge, on the short term, faces strong resistances of 13,100 and 13,400 points, and has a support level at 12,750 points.
