Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Monday on a lower note as the main index EGX30 moved down 0.6% to 12,811.4 points by 10:29am Cairo local time.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 went down 0.60% to 463.5 points and, similarly, the broader index EGX100 lost 0.31% to 11,109.39 points.
Trading value reached 124.03 million shares at EGP 153.6 million after 3,805 transactions were concluded.
Egyptians were net buyers by EGP 893,300, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 283,070 and EGP 876,300, respectively.
Most blue-chip stocks came in the red zone except four stocks, which are Porto Group, Qalaa, GB Auto and AMOC with a 2.63-48 rise.
The largest EGX30 constituent CIB decreased 0.98% to EGP 73.5 in early trading.
