Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) open Monday’s trading session on a mixed note amid local selling.
By 10:20 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index inched down 0.1% or 14.55 points to the level of 14,169.22 points.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) fell 0.85% to EGP 77.
The EGX70 index edged up 0.07% to 785.29 points, while the EGX100 index added 0.06% to 1,765.7 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index rose 0.07% to 2,498 points.
Trading volume reached 30.03 million shares exchanged through 1,000 transactions at a turnover of EGP 53.3 million.
Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 4.9 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.9 million and EGP 2.9 million, respectively.
